Magick of Chrysocolla

Written by Algoth’s Grove

“We are shaped by our thoughts; we become what we think. When the mind is pure, joy follows like a shadow that never leaves.”   Ancient Buddhist Proverb

Chrysocolla is the crystal to have when connecting to the feminine essence of the earth. Associated with Malachite and Azurite, Chrysocolla has an incredibly powerful vibration which leads its wearer to act from a place of unconditional love. It also guides one into the universal understanding of pure thought and living a heart-centred life. This does not mean that Chrysocolla makes you soft, on the contrary, it also empowers, opens and balances your throat chakra making your communication flow with ease. This means that you will be able to voice your feelings without coming across as rude or aggressive. Chrysocolla also gives you the ability to discern between people and things that belong on your path and those that have served their time and are ready to be let go with love.

Chrysocolla is a stone of compassion, of teaching and of healing from within. It brings the highest knowledge that we carry in our own signature to the forefront and allows this wisdom to be a firm grounding in the lives of others. It allows its wearer to become a pillar of strength and to teach by example. It calms the emotions and is an excellent stone for bi-polar patients, those suffering with depression or anger and anxiety. Its vibration is exceptionally strong and can be felt within a day of being exposed to the energies of this crystal.

Chrysocolla does not only heal, it transforms completely. The extent of this powerful stone is remarkable and each wearer will attest to the life changing abilities that Chrysocolla presents. It has been likened to mental surgery, similar to the effects of an Ayahuasca ceremony, but much more gentle. It retrains the mind, allowing its wearer to positively think their reality into being with a compassionate footprint. If you feel like you are in need of a change of life, then this is your stone. It comes with one small side effect… it makes it okay to be alone, to love others but it teaches you to be okay with being by yourself and to love everything that you are. It has been known to be the stone of monks and hermits… the happy ones.
