The digital age, a pure exhaustion of high-rise buildings and endless unfinished to-do lists with an app for everything including your sleep. Everything is becoming digital and everyone has an app for something, whether it is the coffee vs water intake, or the latest meditation app. Slavery has a new face, and the world has forgotten that the power lies within each being on this planet.
You do not need anything that you have, to heal. You don’t need a teacher, a course, a book, or an app. It is nice to have them though, but you need to remember that you are in control. That is the first part. The second is that without healing the mind there is no use in healing anything else. What a bold statement, I know, but its true. The mind is the control centre for everything, from the tips of your toes to the vast expanses of your spirit. Without the mind in check, nothing will succeed.
How do you heal the mind? First you need to understand the mind. The mind, as science has shown us, is not limited to the brain. It is compromised of all the energetic bodies and flows throughout the body and the spirit. Some shamanic teachings equate the mind with the soul. A vessel of translation between spirit and body. These and other teachings are findings specific to certain humans and for your healing you must find the truth that resonates with you. Basically, the mind is the thought process, the mind is the vehicle of healing, the master of abundance and manifestation and the mind is the artist behind the world that you see.
To heal it, you need to be in it. To be in it, you need to let go of everything that you believe and watch your awareness, observe it throughout the day and journal on where you allow that mind to be consciously active and for how long. Once you understand where your awareness goes and you have observed the current state of your mind, you can change it into what you want it to be. Always work in the positive. The subconscious mind does not listen to or take in a negative, for example, if you want to lose weight and you keep repeating: “I am not fat” your subconscious mind will take in “I am fat” and therefore you will be attracted to foods that assist you with what you want, which in this case, being fat.
Once you have the mind sorted out, it is time to bring water into your life. Your body consists more of water than of anything else. It is imperative that you stay hydrated and that you feed your body an absolute minimum of 3 glasses of blessed water every day. Not only does it do wonders for the body, but it does wonders for the mind. By blessed water, I mean, place the forefinger of your dominant hand in the water and stir the water whilst repeating a positive attribute that you would like the water to do for your body at that specific time. Thank the water and drink it. Gratitude in everything is the best attitude for everything.
Beyond that, you need nature. Nature means outside, a park, a mountain, the sea… anywhere and everywhere where you can find the sound and the essence of mother nature. This is without your phone and an app or a social media buzz.
Lastly but by no means least, you need to ground every morning and every evening. Go place your bare feet on the soil, or on the grass and connect with the earth energy. It stabilises, it removes pain and it realigns the self.
If you have these few things in check, the rest will follow… but you need the groundwork before you can leap into the unknown arena of spiritual enlightenment.
